Exgirlfriend text messaged me today…. I need your advice.?

I have reason to beleive that my girlfirend and I broke up because of another guy interested in her, and she is sort of seeing him right now. Its just a gut feeling I have.

its been about a month since we broke up, and about one week since we have last talked. at first i was really chasing her and trying to Get Her Back, but for the last week i havent gotten in contact with her.

so today, she texted me and said that she was wondering if it would be alright with me if she emailed me just because she needed some sort of closure… and to be fair to me.

well, what do i do? should i just not respond? I want to know what she has to say.. but at the same time, i have been trying to be rational and as cooperative as possible and trying to get closure from her this whole time, and she has been unwilling. so now that SHE wants to, do i just give in??? i do want to eventually win her back tho… but i want her to chase me, not me chase her.

Well we all go thru “the breakup” syndrome a time or two.
But my advice to you is to not respond to her text or email. Let her sweat it out a little while longer. Why? Because as long as she knows that the door is open to you whenever she feels like coming in…you have to be man enough to close the door and let her knock. Now I’m not saying give up on her just yet…there is an old saying “if you love something set it free, if it returns to you, then it was meant to be, it it does not return to you, then it was never yours.” With that being said if she really wants to be with you again then she would not ask you in a text if she could send you an email…she would simply say it thru the text.
